Mr. Hou Kai, Auditor General of the National Audit Office of China, met with Mr Vasily Gerasimov, Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus in Beijing on 1 September 2026. The two sides exchanged views on the important role of supreme audit institutions (SAIs) in fighting corruption and addressing misconduct, and agreed to strengthen cooperation both bilaterally and under the SCO SAIs collaboration mechanism.
